Fahrenheit 9/11.

I finally got to see the movie.

Go get it.

There is too much to say, too much to deal with, so I'll quote Tony Bennett ...

"The citizens of America own this country, not the politicians, they are supposed to represent us."

To this country, my country, I say:

"The citizens of Britain own this country, not the politicians, they are supposed to represent us."

Do you pay taxes, do you pay VAT, do you contribute, do you live here? Then this is your country! As Iraq is the people of Iraq's country.

Invasion and war are not our answer even whilst making enormous profits for those who make war and get away with it.

War is not the answer, my friends. I am a middle aged guy of 53, I am no longer fit or very healthy, but if someone invaded my country I would do whatever it took to repel them.

This is not the way to live or die. But if die we must, let it not be for some bogus power monger, let it be for a reason, a cause, something worth dying for. Truth? How about truth?
