Butt out.

I note with interest that the US and Europe have condemned the elections in the Ukraine. Now how is it, I wonder, that the US elections are no ones business but their own, yet the US feels entirely at ease poking their noses into other peoples business? Is it just me or is there the merest hint of hypocrisy about this? How can the US, whose president has only just started his first legitimate term in office, condemn the Ukraine?

And now we have the the iconic James Blake Miller being lauded as the hero of Iraq. Or as CBS News anchor Dan Rather put it:

"For me, this one's personal. This is a warrior with his eyes on the far horizon, scanning for danger. See it. Study it. Absorb it. Think about it. Then take a deep breath of pride. And if your eyes don't dampen, you're a better man or woman than I."

I have to say to Dan Rather, 'You just don't get it, pal.' The means being employed to bring democracy (sic) to Iraq is so wrong there are really no words to describe it. But if you don't get it, you just don't get it.
